To My Girls, My Friends With Love *Muah!*

Standard

Rhonda Shrock has a blog called, “The Natives Are Getting Restless”, and she wrote something in her lastest blog that I thought really said what I feel and since tomorrow is my burfday and I have already received several cards, gifts and FB messages from some wonderful friends…long inhale…. I felt it was most appropriate to share her words with you here.

“My friends are…the face of God…a shining light. The voice of God – speaking truth. They reveal the heart of God because they love me no matter what. When they talk, I listen cause I know who they’re listening to. I love these girls, my friends. I love what you stand for, how you live. I love you for all you’ve done. I love those who’ve been spiritual mothers for me in a way my own mother could not. For every word of encouragement, every nugget of insight. For every prayer you’ve raised and for huggin’ my neck. For texts, phone calls, emails, messges, …gifts (my addition) … I’m grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart”.

Last night at writers group we were charged to write our most important, meaningful life goals. My list is so long, where do I start? (google eyes)  So for me, I have to just start with small goals…and just a few so I won’t get overwhelmed/discouraged. But I must get on with it, as the Brits would say. And hearing from my girlfriends and ‘girls’ my daughters…today, I am encouraged. Thank you so much.

To all those who’ve sent me happy birthday wishes, I wish you joy, and peace and happiness always!

And remember…Keep on laughing! (It’s good for your soul <3)

Cheers!
